Cookie/Privacy Policy and Affiliate Links

How we use Cookies

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit our website. They do NOT identify any individual.

We merely use cookies so we can tailor your user experience, and it allows PayPal to track shopping basket contents and remember where customers are in the order process.

The only other use of cookies on this website is for Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps Drive-France.com understand how visitors engage with our website. It means we can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with the website so we can look to improve it.

You can disable any cookies, but these may stop our website from functioning properly.

Targeting Cookies

This website will allow you to share pages with social networks such as Pinterest, Twitter and Google+

Privacy

We use PayPal for our shopping cart so only they have your payment details we do not have them at any time for any reason.

We never share your email and address details (which we get from PayPal so we can post items and let you know when they have been dispatched.

We do not have a newsletter or any form of email marketing, so we only ever get in touch with you to update on the progress of your order.

The only other time we will contact you is in reply to any enquiries that we receive from you.

What are Affiliate/Sponsored Links?

Some of our pages have links on them to other peoples websites. In the main these are just websites that we recommend as a useful resource to help you, such as a link to the French traffic update website etc.

Some of the links however are links to websites that we are affiliated to. This means that in certain circumstances if you went to that website and bought something from them we could get a commission payment of some type.

This money is needed to help towards the running costs of our website and therefore allows us to continue offering our driving in France tips and advice free of charge to our visitors.

Our promise

We never create web pages purely to promote affiliate links. We write about topics that we think we be useful to people and then if there is an affiliate scheme which seems a perfect fit for that topic we will promote it because we think it makes sense and it will genuinely benefit some of our visitors.

Once you leave our site and visit any of these other sites either sponsored or not be aware that you will then come under their privacy policy rather than ours and although we take care to only link to reputable companies we are not responsible for any issues that may arise between you and them.
